Ultimately she will learn that no matter the price you have to sacrifice by telling the truth, even if you lose what you love the most, that some people are willing to stick by you no matter what, all you have to do is give them a chance.įAVORITE SCENE with George, Samantha and Jase: She will also learn the importance of friendship, family, love, and making the right choices. This summer Samantha will fall in love and she will find the courage and strength to stand up for her self. When Jase comes in to the picture it literally turns her world upside down. His family is something she wishes she could be a part of while her family is "prim and proper", mostly, and she always follows the rules. She's from a well to do family and he's from a family of 8 children and a crazy/loud household. Samantha lives next door to Jase for 10 years before they actually have their first encounter with each other on a face-to-face level. FINALLY I loved that this book sucked me in and never wanted me to put it down. Although it did have me teary eye a little bit at one point. I LOVED that this book put a smile on my face and made me laugh almost the entire book. The easy, loving, trusting and patient relationship Jase has with Samanthaħ. Jase and Samantha were very mature 17-year-olds (very refreshing)Ħ. NO teenage drama with the main charactersģ.
